Plaid is In

Hey guys! I am back at it again with another Fall Fit although the weather as of lately has been a hot mess. But hey, I am not complaining at all. Nothing surprises me anymore with 2020 lol.

As you can tell the statement making piece I wore for this blog post was this plaid overcoat. I know right now shackets are very in (already have one lol) but I wanted to shine light on this plaid overcoat because as guys should already know, I live for versatile pieces. A quick story behind this overcoat was that me and my little sister had an outing and she wanted to play this game she saw on TikTok. The game was that we each had to pick something that remind us of each other from Target. We had to choose items that fell into the range of our favorite color, snack, drink and something that matched our personality (Joana if you are reading this I am sorry I forgot what else the game consisted of ). To my surprise we each got the right items for each other, I concluded my little sister knows me so well. She actually picked up this plaid overcoat and I could not hold in my laughter. She just knows me so well. But long story short I purchased the overcoat because I had been wanting one for a long time. I am not going to lie I did at first contemplate this overcoat because I already have tons of jackets. But then I thought why not, I can definitely rotate this overcoat around and crate tons of outfits.

The verdict on this plaid overcoat was 10 out 10. I at first thought the texture of the overcoat was going to be that itcy af material but it was not to my surprise. The texture was very smooth and super lightweight. I did love the touch of the sash-tie belt because you can tie it up and show off that silhouette of yours. The overcoat is very roomy and you definitely have room to wear a cardigan, pullover or a hoodie underneath. FYI, I did have to exchange it for a smaller size. When I purchased it (although my little sister picked it out I paid for it lol ) I had got a medium, but it was just way too big, too big to wear it and style it as an oversized look. So I ended up exchanging it for a small and it fit better. This was definitely a great purchase from Target and it was not expensive at all. You would think this was a pricey overcoat but it was not. Click on the link down below and you will be surprised at how much this overcoat was. If you guys have not gone to Target and checked out the women’s section I suggest you do, they are definitely stepping up their game.

xoxo, Francisca.
