QUARANTINE: FASHION EDITION

First blog post of the year and let’s say a lot has happened since the beginning of the year. I feel like I need to clear the air and acknowledge that we are all experiencing the famous COVID - 19 pandemic. It is safe to say we are all still trying to cope and understand this pandemic, while still trying to live our daily lives. But enough of this, we already have the news bombarding us with everything COVID-19.

I am here for one thing only & it’s to talk about fashion!

There’s nothing more versatile than a two piece set. I mean let’s face it we (myself included) hate when we have an outfit in mind and it does not look like how we pictured it! Thank goodness two piece sets have made their way to literally any brand we can think of. I defiantly recommend two piece sets when you do not want to struggle looking for the perfect top or bottom & vice versa. The other best thing about sets is that you literally have the option to dress it up or down. You have the option to pair it with either mules, heels, sandals or even sneakers. It all just really depends on your style & what makes you happy (& of course the season we are in). I for one decided to pair my two piece set with slip on sandals. Being that the occasion I wore it for was casual (a Quarantine Picnic). What I loved most about this set was the slit on the side of the skirt & the tie front detail on the top. I completed this look with cat eye sunglasses which still are very much in trend ! I honestly prefer this trend over the tiny frame trend & last but not least my crossbody bag with croc detailing (my mask was inside my bag btw). Anybody that knows me, knows that details are everything to me !
